Keeping in mind the slogan "Sebai Dharma", on January 1, 1989, the local youth community initiated the establishment of the non-governmental development organization "Dumaus" to educate and develop 100% of the people and involve the rural poor in income-generating activities. Since its inception, the organization has been conducting various social activities for the development of the neglected, deprived and poor people.

“সেবাই ধর্ম” এই শ্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে ১৯৮৯ খ্রিঃ ১ জানুযারী স্থানীয় যুব সম্প্রদায়ের উদ্যোগে শতভাগ মানুষকে শিক্ষিত করে গড়ে তোলার, গ্রামীণ হতদরিদ্র জনগোষ্ঠিকে আয়বর্ধক কর্মকান্ডে সর্ম্পক্ত করা জন্য বেসরকারী উন্নয়ন সংস্থা “দুমাউস” প্রতিষ্ঠা করা হয়। প্রতিষ্ঠান শুরু থেকেই অবহেলিত, সুবিধা বঞ্চিত, হতদরিদ্র জনগোষ্ঠির উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন ধরনের সামাজিক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করা হচ্ছে।
